FAQs
Oxford University Graduation Bouquets
How do I Collect my order? I'm running late, should I contact you?
Look out for the flag by the shop entrance, this is the collection point and the staff there will hapily grab your order and bring it to you (this way you can skip the queue). You can also collect from inside the shop.
If you are running late, don't worry, you can collect any time you like before 4:30. No need to contact us. You may be contacted if we haven't seen you by 4pm, to make sure you haven't forgotten your order.
Can someone else collect on my behalf?
Yes. Please ask them to use the name that's on the order when they come to collect, and if you have an online order number (e.g IN1234) or a copy of the order this will help us locate the bouquet more quickly.
Can we take our flowers in to the ceremony at The Sheldonian?
Taking flowers into the ceremony is strongly discouraged, where possible we advise you have someone collect for you whilst you re at the ceremony, or collect after the ceremony. We are aprox 5 minute walk from The Sheldonian

How much should I spend on a graduation bouquet?
Our most popular graduation bouquet size is £50, but we are flexible to cater to your needs. For example if you would like a single rose to give to each of your friends as they graduate we can also do this. There is no minimum, and no maximum.
Which varieties do I need to ask for?
There are no set varieties for graduations, and the selections we use will change throughout the seasons to use the very best. A lot of the time a bright selection is favoured, but we also create a lot of pastel selections- please choose what you think the graduand would like :)
How far in advance should I order? Do you sell out?
If you are in a rush on the day and would like us to choose a selection for you, please order from our graduation bouquets page this will mean we have the flowers prepared and ready for you, and you can use the collection point (look for the big flag near the shop door) to pick up your flowers.
Alternatively you are welcome to come into the shop on the morning of the graduation, and the floristry team will help mix together your selection for you. The later in the day you visit, the more likely we are to be sold out of various varieties.
Can I request a bespoke selection?
Absolutely! Best way to do this is either email, phone or pop into the shop and discuss your order with the floristry team in advance. This gives us time to order in the various varieties, so they are looking their best for ohotos ont he graduation day. Email is prefered if you would like to show us an image. One week gives us enough time, but if you're unsure get in touch.
Should I collect my bouquet the day before? How can I keep the flowers fresh?
You are welcome to collect the day before, please make sure to keep your flowers in tip top condition by following these guidelinds-
When you get home/to your hotel, remove any packaging from covering the stems. Cut the stems and place in water, making sure that all stems reach into the water.
Keep the bouquet cool and out of direct sunlight
Can I choose flowers from the shop myself?
Absolutely, you are welcome to visit the shop and sleect stems and bunches you would like mixed together. All we ask is that you place any stems you don't want back into the water, and if you need help picking somethign out ask one of the team. Plan your visit for earlier in the day and there will be a larger selection to choose from. If you need to collect your bouquet later that day, let us know and we will keep it in water in the cool room.
What are the wrapping options?
We automatically wrap all of our graduation bouquets in our signature hand stamped kraft paper and ribbon. If you would prefer our branded cellophane wrapping (clear or frosted) let us know and we will add a small charge to your order depending on the size of the bouquet.
